Description
“My heart was pounding as I worked my way along the racks.” Sam Watson (a character from "Honeybee")

“Revealed…” is an image based on an event described in the chapter The Black Shadow, from the book Honeybee by Craig Silvey. The scene occurs just prior to gaining some key insights into the book’s main character, Sam Watson, a traumatised teenager.

For me the book explores circumstances that can limit our perception of possibilities, and our capacity to reveal, and ultimately deal with, vulnerability, personal truth, and hidden value. It presents a scenario where previously unmet people and circumstances combine to provide support and unexpected richness in a journey towards intangible goals.
