Description
In the artworks I create I seek to amplify aspects of the natural environment, particularly in relation to the transit of the earth around the sun: the rhythm of this, and its personal and seasonal implications. In the imagery produced the play of light on abstracted foliage explores the notion of biophilia, or more specifically, the power of acknowledging and reclaiming our innate affinity with the natural world.
“Tree Litmus” depicts an abstraction of calm dusk imagery followed by increasingly regular extreme weather conditions depicted in slow motion, repeated in an unending loop.
